Ways to Support the Athletes

The Canadian Jujitsu Team members are fighting for Canada, but are having to pay for themselves for this privelage. Support can come in many different forms, following are a number of options.

Please note that the championships will be televised in over 20 countries worldwide and will be watched by millions of people.

1. Sponsor the team with a cash donation.
This option will help the team out the most, as they can put the money towards their flight tickets and hotel costs. The team is willing to work out sponsorships that will benefit your company by wearing your logo'd gear during their trip. Any amount helps the team more than you could guess, so please offer what you can!

2- Purchase a Startrack 3000 Treadmill or a Keiser Spinbike from the team.
This professional grade excercise equipment has been refurbished to be like new and donated to the team in order to raise money for their trip.

The machines are regularly priced at $4500 for the treadmill and $1200 for the spinbikes, but the team is selling them for $1500 and $300 respectively!

3. Sponsor the team with equipment or gear that they will need.

4. Throw a party for the team when they get back.
This will raise awareness for the team and their accomplishments as well as raise some money for them. Many of the team members needed to spend all the money they had in order to compete, and some had to drop out because they couldn't afford to go.

5. Get this information to the media.
By raising awareness we can help the team out in the long run and get them recognized for their accomplishments.
