On Friday February 3, 2006 The North American Challenge #22 was held in North Vancouver at 100 Capilano Rd. at the Squamish Nations Rec Center.

RESULTS:

George Ventura of Canadian Martial Arts beat Allen Li of Hon-Lees in a split decision after 3 rounds of kickboxing.

Jared Teer of Hawks Kickboxing beat Dominic Ieraci of Raptors Athletics by decision after 3 rounds of Muay Thai.

Eric Peters of Cobra Kai beat Brent Smith due to fight stoppage from a cut eye in a scheduled 3 round kickboxing bout.

Shawn Albrecht of West Coast Raptors submitted Larry Dale of Columbia Martial Arts 2 minutes and 41 seconds into the first round of a scheduled 3 rounds of MMA.

Jessica Yuen of Hon-Lee's Kickboxing beat Tina Derix of Peteric's Kickboxing by decision after 3 rounds of kickboxing..

Nate Gray of WKX knocked out Brian Tremblay of West Coast Martial Arts 1 minute and 31 seconds into the first round with a roundhouse kick to the head that had him bleeding from the nose and ear. Ring doctor Kim Buchman was on the scene immediately and cleared him as being healthy and fine following a series of tests .

James Bannochie of Cobra Kai beat Paul Beaulieu of Peteric's Kickboxing by split decision in a true battle, with both fighters taking damage but never backing down.

Gabrielle Varga fought, and lost to, his brother by decision in a 4-round kickboxing bout. Fawaz Amin was scheduled to fight Gabrielle, but broke his hand training the night before the fights.

Adam Thomas of World Extreme Fighting defeated John Laing Canadian Martial Arts by armbar. Sheer strength and determination brought Adam through many dangerous chokes and locks that John couldn't seem to finish him with, and ultimately were the reasons that John couldn't get out of the Armbar that ended the evening.
